We are thrilled to announce that the incredible Ms. Rosa has been named our Preschool Teacher of the Month! As the Director of Explorer’s Learning Center she has unwavering compassion, humility, integrity, loyalty, and discipline in her action every day. Ms. Rosa’s dedication to nurturing young minds is not only inspiring to our children but to all of us in education. Her passion and commitment shine brightly through the joy and growth we see in our little ones.
ABOUT MS. ROSA: Ms. Rosa has over 10 years with our Preschool. She joined the staff as a teacher and over the years has become an intricate part of the Preschool Program. When Ms. Rosa is not working she loves spending time with her beautiful daughter, her family and her friends. She enjoys scary movies and listening to music. She has been an inspiration to her team of teachers and we are so lucky to have her at ELC!
Can you share your experience in early childhood education and what led you to pursue a leadership role as a preschool director? “My Journey to becoming a preschool director stemmed from a deep passion for early childhood development, which i cultivated through years of working directly with young children as a classroom teacher witnessing first hand the profound impact quality early education can have on a child's life ignited a desire to leas and influence a large scale of learning environment's, ensuring every child in our center receives the best possible educational experience.”
How do you ensure that the curriculum aligns with early childhood development standards while fostering creativity and individual growth? “As a lead teacher, I spearheaded the creation of curriculum that integrated various learning areas, which later informed my approach to overseeing curriculum alignment across the center as a director. “
How do you support and motivate your teaching staff to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment? “I actively participated in coaching and mentoring new teachers, providing regular feedback and opportunities for professional growth, a skill that became crucial in my director role.
