In the Reggio-Emilio approach, the classroom is considered the "third teacher." Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to be welcoming, stimulating, and reflective of the children's interests. We create environments that encourage exploration, interaction, and discovery.

Features of our classroom atmosphere include:

• Learning Centers: Areas are dedicated to different activities, such as art, science, reading, and dramatic play, providing children with various opportunities to explore and learn.

• Natural Materials: We use natural and sustainable materials to create a calming and inviting atmosphere.

• Child-Centered Design: Furniture and materials are arranged to be accessible to children, promoting independence and self-directed learning.

All Explorers teachers are:

• FBI fingerprinted

• Background checked

• CPR/FA trained and certified

• Required to complete 24-36 hours of continuing education annually

• Trained in Reggio teaching standards and approaches
